Alpha Online

Our Lady of Ransom parish will be starting its second ONLINE Alpha course via Zoom on Wednesday 9th March.

Sessions will be from 7:30pm to 9pm every Wednesday for 11 weeks (with a break for Holy Week).
Each evening will begin with a film on key aspects of the Christian faith, after which there will be an opportunity for questions and small-group discussions.
All are welcome.

Alpha is widely acknowledged as an outstanding programme for teaching the Christian faith and drawing us into a closer personal relationship with Jesus. It has become one of the most popular and powerful evangelising tools for deepening and enriching our Christian faith. It is aimed especially at people who don’t go to church or those who may be unsure, questioning or curious about aspects of their beliefs. Even for active and committed Christians, Alpha is an excellent refresher for your own faith and is an ideal opportunity to invite friends and family who are searching for meaning about the ‘purpose of life’ or a happiness that endures.

If you are interested in giving Alpha online a try, please include your name and address on the Alpha Flyer and post it through the Presbytery door or send a confirmatory email to the parish office on If you can participate, do try to encourage others to join you.
